About me

Hi! I'm Helen, a semi-retired Home Economics Teacher with over 20 years of sewing experience. My passion for textiles drives me to create and repurpose textiles that become beautiful and functional pieces tailored to your needs.


Local to Gympie and the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, if you need something mended or altered, sewn or transformed, I would love to talk with you about a solution. 


From buttons and hems to intermediate alterations, I can help you make your fabric items to meet your needs. 


I also offer sewing lessons upon request. 


From mending to creating bags and trendy cushions, clothes and formal wear to curtains, there's not much I haven't tried!
